Yahoo has released a full roster of performers that will be taking part in its upcoming live streaming concert series. For the time being, the deal between the web giant and Live Nation Entertainment will stream one live concert a day for 365 days to Yahoo users. The first will take place on July 15 when the Dave Matthews Band plays at Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville.

"With the Live Nation Channel on Yahoo we are bringing these amazing artists with great production to the 800 million monthly Yahoo fans," said Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino. "This channel will create a powerful new way for artists to continue to grow their global fanbase."

We're sure that the companies involved would be thrilled for the performers involved to "grow their global fan base," but Yahoo's got to be hoping that as many of its users as possible tune in for shows. After all, the more viewers, the more lucrative contracts they can form with advertisers.

There are obvious benefits for fans of performers such as Usher and Justin Timberlake, who will be performing as part of the series. But even better, there will be some exclusive one-off shows that will run on Yahoo as well. One particularly alluring gig will be when John Legend covers the entirety of Marvin Gaye's What's Going On at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
