Liam Payne has announced his debut single “Strip That Down,” featuring Quavo with a short video released to his Twitter account this past Thursday (May 11). The One Direction member will be revealing the single on May 19.

The video is only 40-seconds, and features a clip that sounds much like the one teased a day before the big announcement. In the video we can hear a pounding beat along with a catchy little hook that goes, “Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.”

Before Payne teased the track, Quavo had hinted in a radio interview that he’d filmed a music video with the One Direction singer. With his announcement, Payne revealed that the new single is a collaboration with Quavo. The rapper flows with (“Move that down girl / Love when you hit the ground girl”) in the teaser clip Payne posted.

Quavo’s group Migos has been featured on songs by Calvin Harris and Katy Perry in the past and HotNewHipHop recently reported the collaboration with Payne.

In an interview with Tim Westwood the rapper said, “I just came from a video today. My boy Liam from One Direction. We just shot that. Crazy vid. Crazy visuals. Crazy team. Cool guy, nice guy. It’s goin’ up. I wasn’t even supposed to say that. It’s gonna be a surprise though.”
