Actor Harrison Ford blurs the line between fantasy and reality as he was seen directing the heavy New York traffic on Sunday. After a traffic jam near the Midtown tunnel, the veteran actor jumped out of his vehicle and rerouted drivers out of the jam.

On its way to New York's Carlyle Hotel, Ford's limousine was caught in a middle of heavy traffic. As reported by Mail Online, the heavy vehicle buildup was caused by a car accident in the tunnel earlier.

Drivers and onlookers in the area were caught in disbelief as they saw the "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" superstar, donning a sharp suit and glasses, barking orders in the middle of the street. According to the video from TMZ, the 75-year-old Ford did a good job on redirecting the traffic. He quietly slipped into his limo once the traffic flow went smoother.

Ford is not new to handling emergency situations. Being a licensed pilot, he has been on several incidents involving aircraft. Just last February, Ford successfully landed at the John Wayne Airport's taxiway an Aviat Husky, albeit flying a Boeing 737 passenger jet in the process.

With a worldwide total box-office gross of $6 Billion, Harrison Ford is known for his action-heavy roles. Some of his best-known characters include the intergalactic smuggler Han Solo from the "Star Wars" franchise, the adventurer and treasure hunter "Indiana Jones" and the blade runner Rick Deckard in the futuristic science fiction flick "Blade Runner."

Ford recently reprised his role as Han Solo in 2015's "The Force Awakens," where the character met his demise at the hands of his son Adam Driver's Ben Solo, also known as Kylo Ren of The First Order. The character's burial will be part in this year's "The Last Jedi", the latest entry in the series.

Harrison Ford will also reprise his role as Deckard in the upcoming "Blade Runner 2049" alongside Ryan Gosling. "Blade Runner 2049" is set to premiere in October 2017.
