Count Barbara Streisand as a fan of Lady Gaga. At PaleyFest, the 75-year-old commented that the Star is Born remake was "very, very good."

The Hollywood legend was presented with the Icon tribute at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Friday, March 16, as part of the annual television event. Ryan Murphy, the man behind American Horror Story and American Crime Story, was present at the awarding to moderate the discussion, which touched upon Streisand's legacy and the current social climate tiding the entertainment industry right now.

The conversation also steered toward the upcoming remake of A Star is Born, the romantic musical drama directed and starring Bradley Cooper with Lady Gaga, Sam Elliott, and Dave Chappelle. Streisand admitted that she has seen parts of the movie and liked it.

The singer-actress starred in the 1976 remake of the movie alongside Kris Kristofferson.

Barbara Streisand On #MeToo

Of course, Murphy had to ask the acting two-time Academy Award winner about her stance on #MeToo, the social change that orchestrated the fall from grace of several important Hollywood figures for decades-old cases of sexual misconduct. Streisand has been in the business since 1961 but said that she never experienced a #MeToo moment during her younger years.

"I wasn't one of those pretty girls with those nice little noses," she told the crowd. "We're in a strange time now with men and women, and the pendulum is swinging this way and that way and it's going to have to come to the center."

'A Star Is Born' Remake

The musical was initially slated to be released on May 18 this year, but last December, Warner Bros. decided to postpone it and move the premiere of the movie to Oct. 5. Variety noted that the change will make the movie eligible to be nominated for the next year's awards ceremonies, including the 2019 Oscars.

This is the third time that the studio pushed back the movie's release date.

A Star Is Born will be competing for the top spot at the box office with Venom, the Spider-Man spinoff starring Tom Hardy, and Bad Times at the El Royale starring Chris Hemsworth.

On May 18, Sony will instead release the horror movie Slenderman.

A Star Is Born follows Jackson Maine (Cooper), a country singer who discovers an unknown talent named Ally (Gaga). When Ally's career took off eclipsing his own, Jack struggles to accept the possibility that his star has dimmed, causing the budding romance between him and the newcomer to simmer before it even started.

This is the third remake of the musical.
