Rap mogul Jay-Z rarely does interviews. However, the "99 Problems" rapper revealed his thoughts in an exclusive sit-down with talk show icon David Letterman.

Praising The Rappers

On an upcoming episode of David Letterman's Netflix series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, the "Empire State of Mind" rapper had several polite comments to say regarding some of his peers in the rap industry. Mr. Carter stated that Snoop Dogg has a great voice and he is impressed with the beats that come out of his mouth. However, the highest compliment that came out of Jay-Z's mouth was for Slim Shady himself, Eminem.

"You almost become a percussion inside the music. So, there's multiple ways to be really good. Some people just have it all," said Jay-Z to David Letterman in a statement that was transcribed by Rolling Stone.

'On The Run' Preparations

In addition to his tell-all interview with Letterman, Jay-Z is getting ready to travel the country and the world with his wife, international megastar Beyoncé Knowles-Carter. Some fans have stated that the music power couple copied one of their On The Run II tour advertisements. One ad that caught a lot of attention was the pair on a motorcycle. Fans stated that they were copying Kanye West and his wife, Kim Kardashian's 2013 music video, "Bound 2."

Despite the controversy surrounding that particular advertisement, the Carters have been adding more tour dates to the On The Run II tour. The couple added several more cities to their epic tour including stops in Amsterdam in the Netherlands and several cities across North America including Chicago, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Seattle, East Rutherford, New Jersey, and Los Angeles. Beyoncé and Jay-Z are expected to start off their tour in Europe with a performance in Cardiff in the United Kingdom. The pair announced the tour on Beyoncé's YouTube page on March 12.

Recent Endeavors

On March 1, it was revealed that Jay-Z joined forces with Beyoncé, Future, and DJ Khaled when The Four: Battle of Stardom panelist released his latest music video: "Top Off." This was the first single off of the music producer's upcoming album, Father of Asahd, which is expected to be released sometime this year.

Jay-Z also made headlines when he gave an $11,000 tip at a massive birthday party for Roc Nation Sports president Juan "OG" Perez. Apparently, the hip-hop mogul spent over $92,000 on liquor alone. On a somber note, Jay-Z appeared at the Peace Walk and Talk on Saturday, Feb. 10. The rap mogul helped commemorate Trayvon Martin's life at a dinner that took place during the event weekend.
