Carrie Underwood has announced that she will be taking the stage for the first time since her nasty fall in November 2017.

Preparing For A Comeback

Rolling Stone has learned that the "The Champion" singer is scheduled to debut an all-new track when she makes her appearance at the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 15.On Monday, April 9, the music organization confirmed through via social media that Underwood will be performing at the MGM Grand Garden Arena inside the MGM Grand Las Vegas resort.

Underwood and her representatives have not confirmed the title of the song nor given out any other information about it.

A Beautiful Eye

The announcement follows a mysterious image that the "Dirty Laundry" singer left on social media. Underwood posted a powerful image that caught the attention of her 7 million Instagram followers. The image shows her eyelid with glitter makeup on it. She also wrote that her followers should keep an eye out for something scheduled on Wednesday, April 11, at 6 a.m. EST. Underwood's devoted fan base commented on her social media channel how much they are eagerly waiting to hear the new song.

The Full Face

All of these news bytes come days after Underwood posted an image of her face on social media on Friday, April 7. The "Inside Your Heaven" singer can be seen rehearsing with her band on an unknown project, which we now know is the upcoming performance at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Underwood commented on the photo how much she missed performing with her band.

Underwood has also been nominated for two Academy of Country Music Awards: Female Vocalist of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for "The Fighter," a duet that she recorded with Keith Urban.

The First Face Photo

Underwood released a candid black or white photo of her in the recording studio on April 4, where she is looking intensely at an object at a distance. She was wearing a ripped hooded sweatshirt. Her social media followers not only noticed that Underwood showed half of her face but also speculated that the American Idol champion was going to be releasing new music soon.

A $10,000 Donation

While Underwood was recuperating from her fall, she donated $10,000 to help out her childhood friend, Justin Durrett, who serves as the assistant police chief in her hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma. Durrett and his family needed help paying their medical bills after he was severely injured in a car accident that left him with a broken neck and a bruised spine.

Underwood's Injuries

When Underwood addressed her fans at the end of December 2017 regarding her injury, she forewarned them that she might look different the next time they see her. The country music singer learned from her husband that her doctors had to put between 40 to 50 stitches in her face. Underwood suffered from severe injuries when she fell from the steps outside her home.
