Jack White Discusses New Album

During a recent interview, White opened up about Boarding House Reach and said the compilation is very much different from his other albums. The singer acknowledged the fact that endless change can be risky, but he still felt the need to veer away from his usual sound.

"I couldn't do it, man, it would be lifeless for me. The pushing forward, I like that I have that disease. To have the White Stripes, then start all over again with The Raconteurs, then over again with the Dead Weather, then over again with my solo records: those are bad business moves every time, economically. But to me they're a brand new struggle, a brand new thing, where I'm loading equipment again into a small club, like I did when I was 19," explained White.
