On Sunday, May 27, the heavy metal rock icon posted a photo of himself and his fiancée on Instagram, wearing matching bathrobes and slippers. In the photo, the lovers were kissing in front of a canopy with pink roses.
On her account, Furlan posted the same photo and wrote on the caption, "BEST. DAY. EVER."
Many fans assumed that the photos were evidence that the two got married in The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. The white canopy with floral arrangements and the couple's pose made it seem like they did tie the knot, but apparently, that was not the case.
A day later, the 33-year-old internet personality edited her Instagram caption to clarify that the setup was, indeed, for a wedding ceremony. However, she did not marry her rock star boyfriend this weekend. Another unnamed couple actually used the canopy for their own wedding, and Lee and Furlan were simply borrowing it for the photo op.
"BEST. DAY. EVER." The caption now says, "(to take a photo in front of someone's leftover wedding altar.)"

While they are not married yet, wedding bells will soon be ringing for the 55-year-old and his fiancée. Lee proposed to Furlan on Valentine's Day this year with a giant heart-shaped diamond ring, which they showed off on their social media channels.

The two were first spotted hanging out together last year and confirmed that they were dating by posting photos of each other on Instagram.
No wedding date has been announced to the public as of yet, but this will not be the first time that the musician will be walking down the aisle. He has been previously married three times to different women.
He tied the knot with his first wife, model Elaine Starchuk, in 1984. They filed for divorce shortly after.
He also wedded Heather Locklear in a ceremony in 1986. That union lasted until 1993.
Two years later, he married Baywatch actress and Playboy model Pamela Anderson with whom he shares two sons, Brandon and Dylan. The couple separated in 1998.
In February 2014, Lee was also engaged to his then-girlfriend Sofia Toufa. The two separated in 2016.
