Blake Shelton says the sweetest thing about his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani. The country superstar said that meeting the No Doubt singer was a miracle.

In a teaser for Shelton's interview on Sunday Today With Willie Geist, he talks about the difficult time in his life when he hit rock bottom. Shelton just divorced his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, when he and Stefani started getting to know each other better. At that time, Stefani also divorced her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

"It's a miracle that I met somebody that was going through the same exact thing that I was at the exact same moment in time," said Shelton.

Not A Rebound Relationship

Shelton and Stefani started dating each other in November 2015. At that time, they have just filed their respective divorces a few months earlier. Some fans thought that they were just each other's rebound relationship. However, the couple has been together for almost three years.

During his interview, Shelton admitted that he and Stefani also thought that what they will have would not be as serious.

"I think Gwen and I were being honest right now talking about this, I think in the back of our minds we both kind of thought this is a rebound deal. I mean, because we're both coming out of a pretty low spot in our lives and we're kind of clinging to each other to get through this," explained Shelton.

Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Relationship

Almost three years have passed and Shelton and Stefani's relationship is strong than ever. The couple manages to get through everything together. The country artist has also met all three of Stefani's children, and they get along well.

Shelton and Stefani share each other's photos on their respective social media accounts regularly. Most recently, the couple celebrated Shelton's birthday together. They had a dinner date at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood, California.

Even though Shelton does not have children of his own, Stefani celebrated Father's Day with him and her three children. Stefani and her kids have also been to Shelton's hometown of Oklahoma a couple of times, and they have met each other's family.

The couple first met each other on the set of The Voice where they served as a judge on the hit NBC reality TV competition. Stefani is no longer part of the show, but Shelton is still a judge on The Voice with Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and Alicia Keys.
