Finally, the music video for Khalid and Disclosure's "Know Your Worth" has landed yesterday, March 27, uplifting fans everywhere.

American singer-songwriter Khalid, teams up with the British electronic duo for the second time around to deliver a much-needed positivity, with the song's chorus reminding listeners to "keep your head up."

Daniel Russell directed the new music video, featuring a simple yet inviting dance floor, with its dim neon-lit background brought to life with a colorfully-dressed dance crew. Khalid raps his verses on not settling for less in the same background. "Find someone who loves you at your worst", Khalid sang.

The British DJ-production pair was in charge of the subtle yet upbeat, turning Khalid's positive message and Russel's neon-lit video an anthem for dance. It is the second collaboration between Disclosure and Khalid, the first being "Talk" released last year, earning a Grammy nomination for Record of the Year.

The track was released a month earlier, with the audio-only upload also available on Khalid's YouTube channel. In an earlier interview with Beats 1 on the track's concept, Khalid said that he was like singing to himself in the mirror when he started writing the new uplifting track. He also hopes that his song "resonates with a lot of people who need to hear that kind of message", saying that the song's message was something he needed to hear himself.

Earlier this week, Khalid dropped another inspiring single amid the widespread shelter-in-place orders keeping millions at home. The soothing R&B track titled "Wildflower" opens with lyrics hitting close to home, "Spend my days countin' down/ TIme will pass, that I know". He also posted the suddenly released track in his Instagram account with a message to his 7.8M followers to "be safe."

Khalid, born Khalid Donnel Robinson, is currently under Right Hand Music Group and RCA Records, one of Sony Music's subsidiaries. He started earning mainstream recognition with his debut single, "Location", in 2016. This song reached the 16th position among the US Billboard Hot 100 charts.

His debut studio album, "American Teen", back in 2017 also received Grammy nominations, specifically for "Best Urban Contemporary Album." His debut single "Location" was among the nominees for the Best R&B Song. Later that year, that album was certified platinum by the RIAA.

Khalid also worked with DJ Marshmello in 2017 for "Silence", which would top dance charts and get multi-platinum certifications from multiple countries.

"Free Spirit", Khalid's second album, was released in April last year. The album released came with a short film and debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200. His first collaboration with Disclosure, "Talk", is among the tracks in this album.

Aside from his academy award nominations and best-selling albums, Khalid also holds the distinction of being the only artist ever to occupy all top five slots of the Billboard R&B Songs chart. "Better" ranked first, followed by "Talk," "My Bad," "Saturday Nights", featuring Kane Brown, and "Outta My Head", featuring John Mayer. All these top five singles belong to his sophomore studio album.
