LiveXLive Media and TikTok is set to launch a two-day music festival, titled "Music Lives," scheduled on April 17 to 19.

According to a Billboard report yesterday, April 13, the massive 48-hour fundraiser is set to feature more than 35 artists including Swae Lee, Nas, Anitta, DJ Bash, DJ Pope, Dr. Fresch, Fonseca, Eladio Carrion, J Balvin, Elephante, Maddy O' Neal, Matoma, Nik West, Snbrn, The Funk Hunters, Trippie Redd, and Two Friends.

In a statement by LiveXLive, "Music Lives" is set to coincide with another large fundraiser. Right in the middle of "Music Lives," on April 18, the World Health Organization and Global Citizen event "One World: Together at Home" will take the center stage.

Starting on Friday, April 17, fans can tune in to the live streamed event and see set after set as artists perform non-stop from their respective places, due to the shelter-in-place and social distancing protocols in place. The fundraiser will be available on LiveXLive.com and its mobile app, as well as on the short-form mobile video platform Tiktok. The stream is also available on LiveXLive's TikTok page.

Aside from the non-stop performances across various genres, the event will also feature content to help fans around the world deal with the quarantine period. Fans will be allowed to chat with their fellow virtual concertgoers as the concert shows wellness and self-care tips from both experts and artists.

Dermot McCormack, LiveXLive president recognized the difficulty faced by the industry due to the global pandemic. He said in a statement "The world, including the music industry, has been turned on its head over the past six weeks."

On the other hand, Corey Sheridan, TikTok's North American Head for Music Partnerships and Content Operations, expressed gratitude "TikTok is proud to partner with LiveXLive to create an immersive, multi-day live-stream experience on our platform with #musiclives and to support artists, songwriters, and music professionals through MusiCares."

Funds raised by "Music Lives" will be in support of the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. The Recording Academy's relief fund aims to ease the financial burden of the people working in the music industry affected by the global coronavirus pandemic.The losses from the music festivals, concerts, and other events is expected to reach $9 billion, according to a report from the L.A. Times.

Its partner event set on April 18, WHO and Global Citizen's "One World: Together At Home," will be curated by Lady Gaga and will feature a star-studded lineup including Alanis Morissette, Sir Elton John, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, John Legend, Coldplay's Chris Martin, Keith Urban, Lizzo, Paul McCartney, and Stevie Wonder.

Funds raised by the "One World" live streamed event will go to the "COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO," which manages the distribution of medical and protective equipment for the medical first responders around the world as well as supporting charities that help the people affected by the pandemic by providing shelter and food.

WHO and Global Citizen's event will be broadcast on Saturday at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on network channels ABC, NBC, ViacomCBS Networks, iHeartMedia, as well as various international partners and online streaming services.
