Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn are expecting to have their first baby.

The child is due later this summer, and the couple has been able to keep the pregnancy from the public eye because of the half-year lockdown.

The quarantine helped the couple to keep things in secret. But they decided to tell their closest friends and relatives because they cannot hold the excitement any longer.

Sheeran announced last December that he would be taking a break from music and social media. He mentioned that he would return "when the time is right" and when he has lived enough to write something about. This hints that his upcoming songs will be about his insights as a father, his family, and his future baby.

The singer's music video "Put It All On Me" featuring Ella Mai, shows real-life couples of diverse cultures and how they met. It also shows various locations around the world that make any viewer want to fall in love and get married. The video was released on his official Youtube channel last December 22, 2019, with over 37m views, 685k likes, and 17k comments. The song is included in "No.6 Collaborations Projects," his fourth album to date.

In it was Sheeran and Seaborn dancing in the kitchen. They remembered the time when they were sweethearts back in high school. They both had crushes on each other and went adventurous at the Castle on the Hill. Not so long ago, they reconnected with each other, and there were "fireworks," so they got married last January 2019.

Sheeran is also known to have written songs for other artists such as Justin Bieber, One Direction, The Weekend, Hillary Duff, and many other artists. Spotify announced that he is the second "most-streamed artist of the decade," with Drake being the first.
