It appears either Post Malone or Taylor Swift is going to make history in the 2020's Billboard Music Awards.
Malone has 16 nominations while Lil Nas X has 13 and both artists have the potential to break Drake's record for most wins by any artist of on a single night. The "Rockstar" rapper was also one short nomination compared to his record of 17 last year.
Lil Nas X will have to work harder because he will need to take all 13 categories he is nominated in. Achieving that would be an impressive feat.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has the potential to steal the record from Drake for most wins by any artist of all time. That is because she is nominated in six categories and will only need to win five to make history.
Music fans should take note of the fan-voted awards for Billboard Chart achievement, top social artist, and top collaboration as the voting will be tallied via TikTok this coming October 1st.
