Beyoncé is called Queen Bey for all the right reasons.
She is known to be hardworking and pushing herself to be the best she can be even after establishing her name in the industry.
Though her determination paid off, the "Formation" hitmaker always sees room for improvement, which is why each of her performances has the same grit and resolution similar to professional athletes.
It is known that she uses a trick from football players to improve her performances.
Back in 2013, Beyoncé Knowles talked to GQ and opened up about her career and what motivates her to be so determined just ahead of that year's Super Bowl.
She revealed that her performances should be flawless, but what inspired her to deliver such outstanding concerts is modeling her career after the NFL Super Bowl.
She connects the game and the athletes, noting that she also approaches her shows the same way they do.
The "Diva" singer told the publication, "You know how they sit down and watch whoever they're going to play and study themselves? That's how I treat this."
"I watch my performances, and I wish I could just enjoy them, but I see the light that was late. I see,' Oh God, that hair did not work.' Or 'I should never do that again.' I try to perfect myself."
The mother-of-three revealed, "I want to grow, and I'm always eager for new information."

But the only time she isn't looking for ways to perfect herself is once she's on the stage performing, as it is only one of the few times her brain is shut off, and her comments and critiques go silent.
"It's like a blackout," Beyoncé said. "When I'm onstage, I don't know what the crap happens."
Beyoncé Knowles's motivation to be better than yesterday was also documented on her 2019 Netflix film, "Homecoming."
The former Destiny's Child member said she talked to a few of her crew members about doing whatever was needed to make her vision come to life.
But despite being hard on herself, Queen Bey knows how to give herself credit for the things she could accomplish throughout the years.
In 2010, she won a Grammy for "Song of the Year" for "Single Ladies." She also received Grammys for Best Music Video, Best Rap Song, Best Melodic Rap Performance, Brit Awards, and MTV Music Awards.
