Slipknot is set to perform in different cities across America as part of their highly-anticipated tour, and many fans are wondering if the band will play strictly new songs or tracks that they have long buried. What should concertgoers anticipate?

According to WWRV, the band's frontman, Corey Taylor, attended the Mad Monster Party convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he hinted about their possible setlist after an audience member asked him if fans can expect songs that they never played live in previous shows.

The singer quickly responded, saying, "you're gonna see some songs that haven't been played live in a very long time, straight up."

Taylor said he redid the set, and they're "dusting some stuff off." Aside from old school songs, the singer added that fans could expect music they have been wanting to hear live.

"We're bringing out not only some old school s***, but stuff that people have been asking for for a long time. I'm gonna make them play it."

The frontman concluded his response with a laugh, then fans went wild in the audience and started shouting out the titles of the songs they're hoping to hear in their tour, including "Scissors" and "Cluster."

Setlist. FM reported that the said songs have only been played 90 and 171 times, respectively, throughout their entire career, compared to their other tracks that were performed over 900 times.

Which Songs Should Fans Expect for Slipknot's Upcoming Tour?

According to the outlet's data from Slipknot's tour statistics in 2021, there are over 33 tracks that the band has never played to their fans during a concert.

Slipknot's Highly-Anticipated 'Knotfest'

According to Loudwire, the band is set to travel across North America for their "Knotfest Roadshow," where they'll be joined by In This Moment, Jinjer, Cypress Hill, and Ho99o9.

Each tour leg consists of 20 dates which will begin on March 16 until April 17. The second leg will be from May 18 to June 18.

In a previous interview, Corey Taylor said that they're excited to embark on a tour again despite what's happening in the world at the moment. He's also asking fans to watch their show but try to stay as safe whenever possible.
