Serving as a "market week" for the entire country music industry, this year's annual Country Radio Seminar serves as an avenue for budding and current Country artists to make an impression on Radio heads of the country.

At this year's Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, Tennesee, various country acts have gathered to impress radio personalities in an educational and entertaining music event.

Major radio station groups, country music trade organizations, music licensing organizations, and independent industry professionals are among the attendees.

Sponsors and festivalgoers also include important figures from the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music.

Showstopper Ingrid Address

Just recently, the standout name on the 2022 Country Radio Seminar is Michigan-native Ingrid Andress. As per Variety, Andress took "took the task to its literal lengths" on her outstanding performance.

The "More Hearts Than Mine" singer solved the perennial artist dilemma of having to perform a duet without their partner by doing a dead-on Sam Hunt imitation - complete with scratchy-raspy voice and hand-over-crotch stoop - during his part in their current chart-climber "Wishful Drinking."

Based on the audience's enthusiastic response, that alone will almost certainly win her some further radio airtime.

Because of Sam Hunt's current fiasco embroiled in, Hunt's appearance at the event was not at all expected despite being included in the lineup.

His absence, however, did not pose any problems as there was no shortage of acts to perform in place of him.

The roster extends from American Idol judge Keith Urban, multiple CMA Awardee Luke Combs, Grammy-nominated Dierks Bently, hitmaker Lady A, and multi-platinum group Zac Brown Band.

Other acts

The three-day event also featured up-and-coming acts and new performances from several country singers, old and new.

Jon Pardi scored his Top 5 hit "Tequila Little Time" in 2021 and is about to dominate the airwaves again in the coming weeks with his recently released "Last Night Lonely."

Formerly Lady Antebellum, Lady A took turns with "But Me A Boat, Everybody" hitmaker Chris Janson to each promote their new released singles, "What A Song Can Do" and "Bye Mom," respectively.

Up and coming Country artist Callista Clark also made strides on the music event with her "Brave Girl" and "Gave It Back Broken," sealing the deal for the radio folks of her pending success in the genre.
