Yeah Yeah Yeahs are making a comeback on the UK live music scene after nine years to tease possibly new music and perhaps a new album?
Performed last 2013 in the United Kingdom in conjunction with the release of their last studio album, "Mosquito," the American indie band is slated to perform two dates this summer.

The band took to Instagram to share the exciting news to their fans.
"OK UK! We are coming to lend our light to dark ages and holy shit are we ready to play our hearts out for you!! Yeah its been 9 years since we've graced your club stages! Yeah we've got some tunes so fresh and so NEW to try out on you!" the band wrote.
The New York trio confirmed that they would perform at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on June 5 with indie band English Teacher.
On its second date, on June 7, Yeah Yeah Yeahs will perform with English post-punk band Dry Cleaning and British-German singer Anika Henderson at the O2 Academy Brixton in London.
"Dress up! Make a night of it! Support your fave band that you may have seen debut at Brixton back in '02!! Yeah let's not wait another decade to see each other again! CANNOT WAIT! They don't love ya like we do!! Luv YYYs," they ended.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs' next headline gigs in the United Kingdom go on sale to the general public this Friday (March 18) at 9 a.m. GMT. On Wednesday, fans will be able to access both an O2 and a Bandsintown/artist pre-sale at the same time (March 16).
The band last performed in London at the "All Points Festival" last 2018, dubbed by NME as a "tight and tumultuous hour without an ounce of flab in sight."
Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O hinted last year that she is ready to make some new music after their lengthy hiatus.
After releasing their fourth studio album "Mosquito" in 2013, the band proceeded on a hiatus until 2017. They then reunited to release a deluxe reissue of their now-classic first album, "Fever To Tell."
"Mosquito" peaked No. 5 at the Billboard 200 albums chart and No. 2 at both Billboard's Top Rock and Top Alternative albums upon its release. Meanwhile, it reached No. 9 on UK's album charts.
