Dolly Parton, despite being a country music superstar, has recently been nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation.

She does, however, consider creating a future rock album because it would be a "great challenge" for her.

The 76-year-old country music singer is rumored to be considering going into the studio to take on the task of momentarily straying away from the style of music she's used to composing and adopting a different sound instead.

The "Jolene" hitmaker is thinking about enlisting the support of her 29-year-old goddaughter Miley Cyrus in her new venture.

According to an insider who spoke to Hollywood Life, she is confident that she would like to do a rock album and would like to invite the former "Hannah Montana" star and other music peers to help her get it done.

"She might collaborate with other rock icons to create an album that no one expects but that everyone wants."

"Don't be surprised if she pulls something together and heads to the studio shortly to figure it all out," the person added.

The great news about Dolly Parton comes after she recently made headlines for declining to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

She has been rather quiet in the days following her nomination, but in an interview with Fox, the country superstar admitted that she "didn't feel just comfortable" because she believes it isn't even her genre.

"I feel like that's better for rock music fans."

"I've been educated since then, and it's more than that, but it still doesn't feel right."

Dolly Parton even turned to social media to clarify that even if she was remained on the ballot after opting out, she wanted to "respectfully bow out" so that other voters' ballots weren't split.

However, she also suggested the potential of releasing a rock album during that period, hoping that the foundation would still be willing to consider her again if she was ever worthy and if, at some point in the future, she would want to release a rock album.

According to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, Rock and Roll "had had profound roots in R&B and Country," and it is not characterized by a single music genre, but by a "sound that affects youth culture."

They said that Dolly Parton's music influenced a new generation of fans and other artists, and that her nomination for induction followed the same process as the other artists evaluated.
