Michael Jackson will grace the stage again years after his death, thanks to the Broadway musical "MJ" that will present his life to the public again.

Jackson's highly-anticipated Broadway musical, MJ, is now preparing to moonwalk starting next year. According to Fox News 5, it will present the King of Pop's songs in 17 major cities within two years, starting 2023.

The tour will begin at the James M. Nederlander Theatre on July 15, 2023, in Chicago.

Co-producer Lia Vollack said in a statement: "We are thrilled by the Broadway response to 'MJ,' and that we are already deep in preparations to bring this exhilarating show to Chicago and across the United States. Chicago is a premier theater and music destination, and we are excited to be able to begin this journey in one of the Nederlander Organization's most beautiful venues."

Other tour-related details will be announced at a later date. But it has since been confirmed that the tour will also have a two-week engagement at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, from Sept. 26 to Oct. 8, 2023.

Aside from the Broadway musical, Jackson's early life - from being part of The Jackson 5 until he became the King of Pop - will also be told by the upcoming biopic produced by Graham King.
