Doja Cat halted her performance at Lollapalooza Argentina to prevent an Astroworld tragedy-like event from happening.

On Saturday, Doja Cat performed in front of her fans at Lollapalooza Argentina. But things took a wild turn when an audience member seemingly began experiencing a health issue.

In a fan cam shared by an attendee of the event, Doja Cat can be seen pausing her performance at the Hippodrome de San Isidro in Buenos Aires. The singer asked the sound to be cut during her "Options" performance.

"Yo. Cut it! Wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait. Somebody needs help over there. Is that right? Am I right? Somebody needs help?" she screamed. "I love you guys, I really do. We can't have that happening."

She then taught the crowd how to signal her when someone was not feeling okay. She also took her time to apologize since she could not continue her performance if things were not good.

As she delivered those words, the rapper kept on checking the status of the person in question.

The "Kiss Me More" hitmaker told the crowd that the most important thing at the Lollapalooza was to help everyone to get home safe.

After confirming everyone was okay, she began her performance again and sang her hit song, "Say So."

Billie Eilish Also Did the Same!

Doja Cat's postponement of the performance came over a month after Eilish did something similar at her most-awaited concert in Atlanta.

At that time, they hit a temporary glitch when the singer saw a fan who appeared to be in distress in the middle of the crowd.

In the viral videos, Eilish stopped her number and pointed at one girl who was seemingly getting crushed. She became aware that the woman was having trouble breathing, so she immediately asked her team whether they had an inhaler and instructed the stage crew to get the concertgoer out of the crowd.

Although she only wanted to help her fans, Eilish received a condemnation from Kanye West, who told her to apologize to Travis Scott. The female singer savagely responded and left a comment on "Jesus is King" rapper's post, saying, "Literally never said a thing about travis. was just helping a fan."

But it was not the first time she paused her concert to help a fan, though. In September 2021, the singer stopped her show at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City and asked the security to help a fan in the crowd.
