Rapper Chika has been open about his mental health struggles, but she recently sparked a suicide attempt through a worrying letter.

In the past years, things seemed to have become challenging for Chika as she constantly makes alarming statements about her mental health.

However, it took a wild turn recently when she revealed she wanted to jump off the top of The InterContinental Hotel.

On Saturday, the rapper shared a series of posts on her Instagram Stories, saying she had been looking for a different method to end her life. She said that she went to the top of the high-rise building but could not jump since the metal stairs scared her.

"that's the thing about having a f*****d up brain. no matter how much pain you're in, there will always be something holding you back. it's draining & sad. it looks like crying wolf, but it's not. it's just difficult to find the right way. the quickest way. the painless way. i am tired of myself too," she said.

Chika added that she did not want anyone to feel bad since she had already failed the last time. Instead, she asked everyone to save their emotions once she succeeded.

In the end, she referred to her potential suicide as her eternal freedom, leaving her followers anxious about her status.

It came after she shared more concerning posts, including one that suggested she would not make it home and a message hoping herself is happy.

Is Chika Ok?

A news outlet reported that the law enforcement team was called to Chika's North Hollywood apartment on Saturday to have a wellness check. However, the rapper was not at home.

In April, she deactivated her Twitter account after writing alarming tweets where she disclosed her thoughts about retiring from music due to insults she suffered from.

After suggesting the "suicide pact," she returned to the social media platform to assure her fans she was already feeling okay.

"Thank you to everyone who has reached out to check in. It's been a very intense week. I'm not retiring. After what I've endured in the past few days, I'm not ever allowing anything to stop me or almost take me from this ghetto ass earth," she went on.

Several artists, including Cardi B, showed support as Chika dealt with the dark times in her life. Chika, for her part, explained at that time that she was just lost when she attempted to claim her life.
