It seemed like Harry Styles' fans could not just get over his newest music, as it has broken a Spotify record on the second day since its release.

Teased days after announcing the details of his third album, "As It Was" might be Harry Style's biggest song to debut to date.

Harry Styles' New Single 'As It Was' Broke Spotify Records

Per Uproxx, Harry Styles' team confirmed that "As It Was" broke Spotify's single-day streaming record for a male artist.

                                           

The track reportedly garnered 16.1 million streams, which surpassed Champagne Papi and Lil Baby's "Girls Want Girls."

"Girls Want Girls" tallied around 12.4 million streams in its release in September.The track was one of Drake's most successful releases on his 2021 smash album "Certified Lover Boy."

 Harry Styles failed to clinch the overall record despite holding the single-day streaming record for a male artist.

He is 3 million streams short compared to Adele's "Easy On Me," which posted 19.1 million streams on its first day after release.

Harry Styles' New Album 'Harry's Home'

Harry Styles' upcoming album "Harry's Home" will feature collaborations with Tyler Johnson, Kid Harpoon, and Mitch Rowland for songwriting.

Set for release on May 20, 2022, Harry Styles' new album "Harry's Home" will be produced by Erksine Records and Columbia.

It would pack 13 songs, a track more than its prequel album "Fine Line."

In an interview with 102.7 KIIS FM, Harry Styles revealed that there would be no collaborations included in the new album.

The Grammy-nominated singer also admitted that "Harry's Home" was the most "exciting, fun and intimate" album he had made to date.

"Harry's Home" shares the same title with Joni Mitchell's 1975 song "Harry's House."

MusiCares 2022 Person of the Year Joni Mitchell expressed her support for Harry Styles' new album, tweeting how she "love the title."

Ahead of his album release, Harry Styles will debut at the Coachella along with Oscar-winner Billie Eilish, Swedish House Mafia, and an unconfirmed Kanye West.

Harry Styles will perform on April 15 and 22 at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
