Chris Martin shocked fans when he previously announced that Coldplay will end its years-long career in 2025, but the band is doing its best to put out more material for fans' delight in the coming years; what are the frontman's future plans?

According to Audacy, supporters will look forward to getting new music from the five-piece band as the lead singer announces their plans in the coming years.

Speaking to the outlet, the singer revealed they have "three more albums" and "they each have their own thing going on."

Among those three records is a musical they wanted to do as a movie.

Speaking about the aftermath of announcing their 2025 retirement plans, Martin reveals he may have smirked when he revealed the news to the public, saying their project will "probably not be finished by then."

"We won't put that music out until that film is done. But we have three more projects and there are some surprises of course," he added.

Elsewhere in the interview, the musician recalled the band's collaboration with BTS titled "My Universe," saying they don't think they'll ever match the boy group's surprise as it was even a surprise for them.

He also noted that it feels "like the most natural collaboration in the world. It's an amazing lesson for myself in keeping an open mind all the time, because you just never know what life or music is gonna throw you."

Coldplay 'Music of the Spheres' World Tour 2022

In addition to creating more projects, Coldplay is booked and busy this year as they announced a world tour for their upcoming album "Music of the Spheres."

Their shows will not only entertain fans but also save the environment by lessening their carbon footprint.

The band has promised a "sustainable and low-carbon" tour to cut emissions by 50%.

Each scheduled show will be powered by renewable energy by installing solar panels, kinetic stadium floors, and kinetic bikes powered by fans.

In a previous interview, Chris Martin said they've been planning this kind of tour for years, and they're excited to play more songs for fans.

At the same time, they're also conscious because the planet is facing a climate crisis.

To develop a solution, they spent the last two years consulting with experts to make their shows as sustainable as possible.
