Even though the Oscars is popularly known for awarding and nominating films, many fans anticipate hit songs from movies to win the best original music category.

Throughout its decades-long run, the Academy has awarded numerous hit songs that will forever be remembered in history.

From Celine Dion's classic track to a Disney song that made its way to the top, here are five iconic songs that either won or got nominated at the Oscars

My Heart Will Go On - Titanic

Written by James Horner and lyrics by Will Jennings, this Celine Dion classic was beloved by millions of people when it was released in 1997 for the movie "Titanic."

"My Heart Will Go On" has won the Best Original Song award at the 70th Academy Awards.

According to Song Meanings and Facts, the track revolves around the distance between the movie's protagonists, Rose and Jack, as they both come from different backgrounds.

Rose was born into a wealthy family, while Jack isn't that fortunate.

Let It Go - Frozen

"Let It Go" is not just famous for children but also for numerous Disney fans from all over the globe.

Broadway icon Idina Menzel performed the track, while the lyrics and music were composed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

It was featured in the 2013 animated film "Frozen." The main character, Elsa, struggled to accept her ice powers in the movie until she finally embraced it and let her worries go.

Demi Lovato also had her version of the song, which was released for promotional purposes.

Dos Oruguitas - Encanto

Everyone still can't get enough of the "Encanto" hype as many fans are still putting the official soundtrack album on blast, and among the fan-favorite songs is "Dos Oruguitas."

Despite "We Don't Talk About Bruno" being the most popular song among the animated feature, many were shocked that the track snagged the nomination.

The song was nominated for Best Original Song, but it didn't win the category.

Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the track almost gave the songwriter his highly-anticipated "EGOT" status.

Skyfall - Skyfall

In 2013, "Skyfall" from the James Bond film of the same name made history by winning its first Oscar award in 47 years.

Per BBC, the song was written and produced by Adele and Paul Epworth.

In a previous interview, the two musicians revealed that the track's first draft was only written in 10 minutes; however, they confirmed that there "was way more to come."

No Time To Die - No Time To Die

Another James Bond film on the list is Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell's Oscar-winning song "No Time To Die" from the movie of the same name.

According to Variety, the track is the third consecutive Academy Award for music for the movie's franchise, following Adele's song mentioned above and Sam Smith's "Writings on the Wall."
