Considered one of the world's best-selling artists, Justine Timberlake has already been in the music industry's limelight for more than two decades.

From being an NSYNC member to becoming a solo artist, Timberlake has had a robust discography along with a long shelf of accolades and achievements under his belt.

But recently, the pop singer has made a huge move on his catalogs.

Justin Timberlake Sold His Catalog to Hipgnosis Song Management

Variety reports that Hipgnosis Song Management has acquired Justin Timberlake's 100% of all his discography's copyright, ownership, financial interests of the writer, and publisher's share of public performance income, including the catalog of his musical compositions.

The humungous deal also contained the worldwide administration rights to his compositions but was subject to the remaining term of Universal Music's administration rights, which will expire in 2025.

Other contents of the deal were not disclosed publicly and remain private as of this writing.

Hipgnosis Songs Capital acquired Justin Timberlake's Discography. The company has struck a partnership with its mother company, Hipgnosis Song Management, while Blackstone manages its funding and finances.

"I am excited to be partnering with Merck and Hipgnosis - he values artists and their creative work and has always been a strong supporter of songwriters and storytelling. I look forward to entering this next chapter," Justin Timberlake said in a statement following the new deal.

Hipgnosis Song Management CEO Merck Mercuriadis affirmed Justin's massive influence and songwriting prowess in the music industry for penning hits like "Cry Me A River," "Mirrors," SexyBack," and "Can't Stop The Feeling," among others.

"Putting this deal together has been a complete labour of love for Justin, Rick, David and myself and I'm delighted to welcome them all to the Hipgnosis Family," Mercuriadis affirmed.

This is not the first time that Hipgnosis Song Management has sealed a massive deal like this from influential artists and acts from the music industry. Despite being a newcomer in the music industry, they have "significantly disrupted the business" by driving up the value of artists like Neil Young, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Barry Manilow, Shakira, and more.

The company paid a hefty sum of $2 billion-plus in the acquisition of the catalogs of these huge artists and songwriters like Jack Antonoff, among many others.
