While the Billboard Hot 100 was topped with modern hits from Harry Styles, Jack Harlow, and Future for the past few weeks, it could be a shocking turnout if the 1985 classic makes its way to at least the Top 10 next week.

Netflix's "Stranger Things" is the one responsible for the massive surge of sales and streams of the beloved alt-rock hit after it was played in a now-iconic scene of Sadie Sink's character "Max Mayfield" floating mid-air with the song serving as his anchor to the mortal plane.

In the series, the song was Sink's character's favorite song, which was instrumental to her release from the capture of the season's main villain, Vecna.
