Despite the happiness she gets from her success in music, Megan Thee Stallion still has a hard time forgetting the traumatic experience that Tory Lanez has given her.

Considered now as one of the most awaited trials in the music industry, Tory Lanez, and Megan Thee Stallion is months away from their trial - a lawsuit that the female singer filed against the Candian rapper.

In a new interview, the "Sweetest Pie" hitmaker detailed her trauma again to shed more light on what really transpired in her violent argument with Lanez in 2020.

Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez 2020 Shooting Incident

In July 2020, Megan Thee Stallion, while going home after a party in Kylie Jenner's house, was reportedly shot in the foot by an unnamed man.

Subsequently, she alleged rapper Tory Lanez was the one who shot her after a heated argument in the male's SUV turned out to be a violent altercation involving a firearm.

He was later charged with assault with a semi-automatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle - but has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the female rapper detailed the traumatic experience again, particularly expressing how she did not think at the time that his friend, Lanez, would do such a horrible thing.

"I thought we had a real connection. I thought he knew me. And I never would've thought he would've shot at me at all," the singer said.

She also revealed that they were close because the two of them bonded over the mutual loss of their mothers.

Aside from the actual shooting, Megan said that she was also in pain for what happened the days after - on the road to recovery, physically and mentally.

Megan disclosed that she got the surgery the night she was rushed to a hospital in California. Medical reports show recently that doctors found three major bullet fragments on the rapper's foot.

"Both of my legs wrapped up. I could not walk. I still have bullet fragments in my feet right now. I was very scared that I was not able to be Megan Thee Stallion no more," she recounted.

But despite the tragic incident, when Stallion crawled into a stranger's driveway while authorities rushed to her - she thought that law enforcement would respond with deadly force when they will saw a black man holding a firearm. She then said to the police that she stepped on a glass to save Lanez from the possible deadly intervention.

This is the second time Stallion has publicly revealed the incident's details. The last one was with Gayle King on CBS Mornings in April 2022.
