Following a series of cancellations, Lana Del Rey is the latest artist to postpone her first-ever concert in Israel due to the conflict in nearby Gaza. The singer was scheduled to perform at the Tel Aviv Exhibition Ground's on Wednesday, August 20.

As the Jerusalem Post notes, organizers said a new date will be announced and original dates will be honored once the area is safe again.

According to Billboard, Del Rey's rep hasn't responded to a request for comment and the show remains listed on her website. They point to one Israeli fan's reaction to the news:

"Lana, please come to Israel," writes Joseph Brenner. "We love you here, dont disappoint us, dont be effected by some people who got hates in their head, please, i would like to see you here, we got here beautiful country with good people, and beside, if to die somewhere, it's in the holy land... :) ... just joking a bit, cause we are all under pressure here, with this Hamas terrorists."

Del Rey's opening act, Max Jury, confirmed the news on Twitter saying, "Unfortunately the show with @LanaDelRey in Tel Aviv on August 20th has been postponed. Will let y'all know the rescheduled date ASAP."

Other artists who have cancelled or postponed concerts since the heightening of the Israel-Palestine conflict include Cee Lo Green, Megadeath, Neil Young, America, Kansas, Paul Anka, and Backstreet Boys.

According to Billboard, the conflict in Gaza has cost millions of dollars in lost revenue from international live acts. They cite CEO of live promoter 2b Vibes, Carmi D. Wurtman, who estimated around $10 million in losses as of last week with a projected $20 million by mid-August.
