Elvis Presley hated something about his career.

As the most famous person on Earth when he started singing, Presley became the center of attention. His over two decades of career before his untimely passing allowed him to give everyone the best music that caused him to become one of the most significant singers and icons of the 20th century.

But amid the fame, Presley was a very private person who never liked being popular. At the same time, his tendency to seclude himself from the spotlight made him refuse interviews.

His wife from 1967 to 1973, Priscilla Presley, revealed that the late King of Rock & Roll never really got into fame.

"He performed, but if you look back, he hardly did any interviews," she said. "He did what he was supposed to do, but he wasn't into it. He was a very private person."

Even Priscilla remains uncomfortable due to Presley's lasting popularity. The family had always been on guard due to paparazzi, and she never found it normal.

She added that, if Presley was still alive, he would not join social media as she thought it was something he would never be interested in.

Elvis Presley Would Love "Elvis" Biopic

Although Presley hated fame, The King would reportedly love his new biopic featuring Austin Butler.

During Priscilla's interview in "Good Morning America," she revealed that she wished her ex-husband could see the biopic as he would have loved the movie.

"It was getting more and more frightening as time went by where he just was like, rebelling," she said.

One of the scenes in the film shows her asking Presley to seek help for his drug dependency. That part purportedly brought back memories to Priscilla.

Still, she showered Butler with praises as the young actor perfectly portrayed who Elvis was and showed what the singer was striving for.

"Elvis" received a 12-minute-long standing ovation during the Cannes Film Festival in May. Priscilla failed to contain her tears she hugged the film's director, Baz Luhrmann.

The release came decades after Presley was found dead by his then-fiancee, Ginger Alden, inside his Graceland's bathroom after suffering extreme constipation. Presley allegedly took three separate packages of pills and painkillers to help himself fall asleep before his concert in Portland, Maine.
