Celebrities and artists alike live in the public eye - and while they try so hard to have their own private time when doing mundane things in public places, some fans really go beyond the normal.

The most recent artist who has had this unfortunate experience is female rapper Cardi B.

The "Invasion of Privacy" hitmaker might have some changes to do with her security team after a recent encounter with a fan in a supermarket.

Cardi B Approached By Overconfident Fan, Angers Security Team

Cardi's security might need to beef up a little more after the rapper was approached by an overzealous fan.

In a now-viral clip that surfaced earlier today, Cardi just seemed to have finished rolling her cart on the supermarket aisles when a male fan attempted to exchange some pleasantries with the rapper.

Although the fan has some good intentions, he then seemed to have a shot of overconfidence as he asked a brazen question - asking Cardi her number.

The rapper only responded with "Boy!". However, her security marshal did not take it lightly.

"See, that will get you knocked [out]. Don't do that," the marshall sternly warned the fan while pointing him out.

The short clip ended abruptly, hanging netizens in the air on what happened next. But, it seemed like the matter did not escalate to something ugly.

Cardi B New Album Coming Soon?

Fans on the DJ Akademiks took the encounter lightly. Some Bardigangs even complained about why the man did not ask for any album update instead.

The sophomore effort of the rapper has been teased heavily in the past few months. However, besides "Up" and "Money," details and the release date for the album are nowhere to be seen.

Yesterday, however, the "Bodak Yellow" singer had hinted that she would "stomp" the game on her upcoming album.

The rapper took heat because of her remarks, noting that people have ignored her use of the word "retarded" in her music lyrics before, among other slurs.
