Kelly Clarkson has spent almost her entire music career in television.

From winning the inagural season of "American Idol," to her long stint as a coach in "The Voice," the GRAMMY-winning artists has devoted herself mostly in front of the cameras.

Recently, Clarkson retired her "The Voice" chair to Camilla Cabello after 8 seasons - she is the third coach to have stayed the longest in the show, trailing behind Adam Levin with 16, and Blake Shelton with 22.

Her decision to leave "The Voice" was motivated mainly for her to focus on her own talk show - "The Kelly Clarkson Show," which goes off to secure a huge win at the Emmys.

Kelly Clarkson Hauls Emmy Awards for 'The Kelly Clarkson Show'

In the recently concluded Daytime Emmy Awards, the "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger" packs a huge bag of Emmy trophies for "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

Kelly Clarkson sealed her third Emmy as the Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host of the Year. She won the award for three years in a row since the show started in 2019.

Aside from this the show also won Outstanding Talk Show Entertainment this year, just like in 2021 too.

A week ago, the show also bagged five awards at the Creative Arts Awards - including Outstanding Technical Team, Camera Work, Video, Outstanding Lighting Direction, Outstanding Multiple Camera Editing, Outstanding Live Sound Mixing and Sound Editing, and Outstanding Art Direction/Set Decorating/Scenic Design.

The show's win this year is the biggest Emmy sweep yet, as it has more awards than the two seasons of the show combined.

However, Clarkson was not present this year to accept the awards. The singer's producers clarified that she is currently taking the entire summer off to spend with her children - after losing a huge custody battle with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.

With her massive success in the television arena, talks of her quitting music were again revisited.

Kelly Clarkson Quitting Music?

Kelly Clarkson's music career has nothing but success. However, her priorities were revisited last year after revealing that her music career would be in the backburner in the foreseeable future.

Fans of the singer are quite skeptical since she has been much more active in her talk show than releasing new music.

But fans need not to worry, Kelly Clarkson's singing chops has been largely utilized on her show, specifically on her "Kellyoke" segment, where she sings covers of well-loved songs, with a Kelly Clarkson punch.

Her most recent cover was Linda Rondstadt's classic hit, "Blue Bayou."
