Describing Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 as an epic rollercoaster ride is a huge understatement.

With only two episodes left on the 4th season of the saga, fans of the Netflix hit were taken aback at the highly anticipated season finale.

And just like the impeccable songs used on the first volume, the Duffer Brothers did not disappoint with the song choices on the recently-concluded two episodes.

The trip to 70s and 80s music was surely a nostalgic trip for some, considering that the current plot of the series was held during the mid-80s, at the height of rock music in the United States.

SPOILER ALERT! If you haven't seen the Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2, bookmark and read this later after you binge-watched it.

Stranger Things Season 4 Soundtrack

Up Around The Bend The first notable song that was played in the second volume was Creedence Clearwater Revival's 1970s hit Up Around The Bend. The song made perfect sense in the getaway scene as the Hawkins gang carnapped the RV for their supply run.

Fire and Rain James Taylor's Fire and Rain came up on one of the volume's most intimate parts, the time when Joe Kerry and Natalia Dwyer's characters were almost rekindling their previous romance - a moment that StanCey fans have been raving since their season 2 breakup.

Dream A Little Dream Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong's version of Dream A Little Dream makes a second appearance in this volume. The song was again played while Millie Bobby Brown's character Eleven was inside Sadie Sink's character's memories, which gives the former the idea that there is a looming danger for the both of them.

Every Breath You Take The Police's Every Breath You Take makes a return to the last episode of the season - taking everyone back to the iconic Hawkins' Snow Ball where Sadie Sink and Caleb McLaughlin's characters first shared a kiss - this was Max's happiest moment.

Spellbound Finally, goth music made its way to Stranger Things! British gothic rock Siouxsie and the Banshees's 1981 classic Spellbound was used on the season's post-credits roll. Although the song was briefly featured, it encapsulated the somber mood that the series is about to head on to the next season.

Masters of Puppets Fans of Joseph Quinn's now-deceased character Eddie Munson (May he finally rests in peace and awesomeness!) finally heard the song that the Hellfire Club leader was playing at the top of his RV. Quinn's guitar solo of Masters of Puppets was one of the most-awaited scenes of the season, and good thing Eddie's taste in music delivered.

Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) Ever since Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 hit Netflix last month, Kate Bush's music career skyrocketed again. The 1985 hit was given a new epic synth arrangement in this volume, played at the climax sequence of this season when Eleven finally defeated Vecna. Hopefully, Stranger Things or Kate Bush will release the new version because it is heavenly!

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 is finally out on Netflix worldwide.
