Steven Tyler improved immediately after his stay in a rehabilitation facility.

Tyler reportedly had a successful stay inside a rehabilitation facility and is currently doing well. According to a news outlet, the Aerosmith frontman showed impressive progress after starting his treatment program following a relapse.

With that, he checked out of the facility although he stayed longer than the 30 days he was tasked to complete. This is due to his desire to make sure that he was already recovered before his discharge.

Aside from that, the news outlet confirmed that the 74-year-old rocker is now clean and sober. He also reached a healthy weight.

Following his discharge, the public spotted him at Island Creek Oysters in Duxbury, Massachusetts where he got some oysters. The restaurant also uploaded photos of him saying that they love it when their friends "visit" them at work.

He also visited Marshfield police recently and posed for a photo with Chief Phillip Tavares as he sat behind the desk.

"The circle of life ... we all want to be pro athletes, pro athletes want to be movie stars, movie stars want to be Rock Stars and Rock Stars want to be cops..... well....."DREAM ON"........Mr. Tyler..... that desk you're at is taken!" the department shared on Facebook.

What Happened to Aerosmith's Steven Tyler?

In May, Aerosmith released a statement confirming the postponement of the band's Las Vegas residency because of Tyler's health. The frontman suffered a relapse as he managed his pain following foot surgery.

"As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sobriety for many years. After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and the necessity of pain management during the process, he has recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery," it said.

The band ended up canceling the June and July dates of the Deuces Are Wild residency. Still, it assured fans that it would resume the dates in September although the specific details are yet to be confirmed.

In the past years, Tyler has been open about his struggles with substance abuse. In 1988, he purportedly had an intervention which his bandmates and management scheduled to help him with his drug addiction.

He told Haute Living that he got sober but once felt angry that he was in rehab while his bandmates were on a vacation. But years after, he realized the importance of that moment.
