Carlos Santana apparently fainted on stage during his gig on Tuesday.

Fans were astonished and concerned when a mob rushed to the stage to aid the 74-year-old famed guitarist after what seemed to be heat exhaustion at the Pine Knot Music Festival in Detroit.

Fans became anxious in photos and videos that circulated online while medical workers attended to Santana.

It happened approximately 20 minutes into his set, according to reports.

"Carlos Santana just passed out on stage," according to FOX.

"Medical professionals have arrived on stage." Crowd requested treatment for him due to a "severe medical" condition."

According to concertgoers interviewed by The Detroit News, Santana was singing "Joy" when the music abruptly halted.

"He was wandering about, playing, and then he collapsed."

According to Variety, the music singer was covered by a black sheet while being escorted to a nearby emergency facility.

However, according to a statement made by Carlos Santana on Tuesday night, the rock musician was "overtaken by heat exhaustion and dehydration during a concert Tuesday evening in Michigan."

But, for those who are interested, what is the current state of Santana?

But per his team, he is "under observation and doing well."

Santana, in fact, sent a message to his supporters, thanking them for their "sweet prayers."

He also said that he failed to eat and drink water before the concert, which caused him to become dehydrated and pass out.

Carlos Santana's Medical Issue

Carlos Santana disclosed in December 2021 that he had an unplanned cardiac operation, which forced him to cancel a tour.

He told his fans that something was "happening in his chest," and that his wife had taken him to the hospital a month before.

However, prior to the event, he had already been forced to cancel seven gigs, but hoped to return to the stage in early 2022.

At the time, Santana assured his supporters, "I'm going to take a little time off to make sure I refill, relax, and catch up with my health so that when I play for you, I will play the way I'm used to and give you 150 percent."

However, the music legend was forced to cancel his February 2022 Las Vegas gigs when several of his bandmates tested positive for COVID-19.

Carlos Santana's concert on Tuesday evening is part of his summer tour "Miraculous Supernatural 2022" with Earth, Wind & Fire, which began in June and will run through August.
