Britney Spears has agreed to a $15 million book contract in which she would talk about her family and the conservatorship she was forced to enter.

The publishers, however, have allegedly stated unequivocally that the "Baby One More Time" singer must stay away from social media and stop airing out some dirty linen and controversy for her fans for free.

According to an OK magazine insider, the 40-year-old pop star has been ordered to keep quiet and reserve all the factsfor her impending biography.

"Why would anyone want to buy the book if she's blabbing for free on social media?"

It's also possible that Spears will keep her mouth shut and refrain from revealing any further details regarding her current endeavor.

The insider went on to explain that after being hushed by her conservatorship for 13 years, she regained her voice, and it's tough for Spears to keep silent.

"However, she now has 15 million reasons to agree," they continued.

Insiders also stated that the writing process with the "Oops I Did It Again" singer was difficult because she isn't used to discussing her background with people she doesn't even know.

It is also stated that she does not trust many individuals and dislikes meeting new people.

According to the insider, getting the singer-dancer to meet a total stranger and share all of her life's deepest, darkest secrets has been difficult.

"They attempted to meet with about a dozen ghostwriters. She blew off the most of the meetings, and the ones that did happen did not go well."

Britney Spears, who has been estranged from her parents, Lynne and Jamie, as well as her sister Jamie Lynne and brother Bryan, confirmed to her millions of fans in April that she would be talking publicly about what she had been through in the previous several years, adding that the experience had been "healing and therapeutic."

On Instagram at the time, the "Lucky" singer stated that she had never had the opportunity to express herself fully and had difficulty talking about prior events.

"And, in addressing it now, I'm sure it appears unimportant to most people, and I'm fully conscious of that."

Meanwhile, her husband, Sam Asghari, commented on the post, saying, "I'm purchasing the first copy."
