Britney Spears Shocks Steph Curry, Celebs Into ‘Silence’ in a Club After Hollywood ‘Diss'

Britney Spears made an extremely uncommon appearance at the San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood. While stars should be used to seeing other stars by now, especially if they are A-listers themselves, Spears somehow had a "weird" effect on those who spotted her on this event.

The 40-year-old pop star dined at the private members-only club with her husband, 28-year-old Sam Asghari, and CAA agent Cade Hudson.

According to a Page Six eyewitness, Britney's entrance was "total showstopper." 

Monica Lewinsky was present to have lunch with Sarah Paulson, while Steph Curry was reportedly at another table. Brit wasn't the only A-Lister in the venue, naturally - but her effect can be described as unique, and quite surprising. 

"It was a total showstopper at a place that is accustomed to seeing megastars," the insider said to the publication. "It was weird. ... Everyone stopped talking as Britney walked in and through the crowd to her table," they explained.

"A few tables away was Steph Curry," the insider stated, adding that the 34-year-old NBA champion was "in awe" of the legendary pop musician.

What makes the whole encounter somehow awkward is that this L.A. appearance occurs only days after the Kentwood, California resident criticized "Hollywood folks" on Instagram. "I'd rather hang out with homeless people than the people in Hollywood ... JUST SAYING !!!!" she stated in a strongly worded caption on July 14. It has now been deleted, though. 

Spears has every right to feel this way, especially considering her turbulent relationship with the media in the 2000s following her breakup with Justin Timberlake and divorce from Kevin Federline. Britney was subject to a 13-year conservatorship following a public breakdown, which ended in November 2021. 

In June 2022, only a few months after recovering her independence, which included the capacity to manage her own funds, Britney wed Sam, her lifelong love. The couple then embarked on a tropical honeymoon, during which she posted numerous bikini photos on Instagram. 

As Britney's longtime agent Cade was also present at San Vicente Bungalows, it is possible that the meal was a business meeting. Britney made it plain that she would not perform or release new music until she completed her conservatory training, which she did a few months ago. In February 2022, while dancing to her song "Get Naked," she tweeted about new music her fans can anticipate from her.
