Good news for Britney Spears fans! The pop star is said to be releasing a new song with Elton John and supporters can't wait for her to perform and drop music again after her lengthy court battle against her conservators; when is it coming out?

According to Hollywood Life, the two music legends collaborated and met in Beverly Hills, California, last week to record a duet.

The track would be a re-recording version of the British singer's 1972 hit "Tiny Dancer," but this time, it would feature the Princess of Pop's vocals.

As per the song's release date, Page Six reported that it will be available for purchase and streaming anytime around August.

An insider spoke to the outlet, saying the project was John's idea and Spears is a huge fan of the legend.

"They have recorded a remix of 'Tiny Dancer' as a full duet - and it is incredible. Britney was in the studio in Beverly Hills last week with Elton for the super-secret recording session overseen by uber-producer Andrew Watt," the source added.

In addition, the insider also revealed the initial reaction from people who had the biggest honor of listening to the song before it came out.

The source said people at their record label have already listened to the new music and "everybody is freaking out."

"It is so good. They are saying this is going to be the song of the summer," they added.

As of this writing, neither Britney Spears nor Elton John has confirmed if the circulating rumors are accurate.

If the collaboration turned out to be true, this would be Spears' comeback after years of not releasing any music.

The "Sometimes" singer has had an amazing year so far as she got her freedom from her 13-year legal conservatorship a few months ago. She also got married to her longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari.

This is a surprising move for Spears as many insiders previously claimed that the pop star is not going back to her former life as a singer/entertainer.

Although she previously told those close to her that she would make a comeback, but the source said otherwise.

Spears' last album "Glory" was released in 2016, which featured the hit songs "Slumber Party," "Man on the Moon," "Do You Wanna Come Over?," "Clumsy," and many more.
