In its latest teaser, uploaded Aug. 5, "The Voice" Season 22 welcomes its new coach, Camila Cabello, with an anonymous note.

The teaser starts within the set of "The Voice," and instantly shows a vibrant and excited Camila spotting her makeup vanity filled with welcoming gifts, balloons, flowers, and what seems to be an anonymous letter. The letter, crafted with magazine cut-outs, reads: "You are going to lose so bad!"

Behind her is a shadow, holding up a pair of gardening sheers, seemingly as if it was trying to cut the "Bam Bam" singer.

The one-minute teaser shows a puzzled Gwen Stefani asking, "who would send that?" Followed by Blake Shelton  spun from the iconic "The Voice" chair saying, "I can't believe you got that anonymous letter."

Returning coach John Legend joined the group, holding his anonymous letter, "You should never have come back." With sets of suspicious eyes on him, Blake then replied, seemingly mystified, "it's anonymous."

The mystery is then solved when "The Voice" host Carson Daly walks in, holding craft materials and a handful of magazines, and says, "Hey Blake, can you please stop crafting in my dressing room?"  To which the "Havana" singer says, "Busted."

'The Voice' Welcomes Camilla Cabello

This fall, "The Voice" welcomes Camila Cabello and two returning coaches, Gwen Stefani and John Legend, accompanied by long-time coach and country superstar Blake Shelton. Season 22 is set to premiere on Sept. 19 on NBC and streamed on Peacock.

As the resident coach of "The Voice," country superstar Blake Shelton is portrayed as the gruff competitive coach, intimidating his new fellow coaches. He has been with the show since its first release. With eight wins under his belt and tenureship in the show, Blake is the coach to beat.

'The Voice' Show

The American singing competition was first released on April 26, 2011, with 21 seasons and over 500 episodes. Since its release, it has welcomed over fifteen coaches, with well-loved musicians like Nick Jonas, Shakira, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, and Alicia Keys.

"The Voice" is commonly identified as the show with the rotating chairs as its back faces the audience, away from the contestants. Coaches will then have to push the button, rotate the seat, and face the contestant. The coaches will fight over who gets the contestant to join their team of singers.

Afterwhich, the contestants will battle it out against each other and then be voted in a couple of different ways. The audience purchases the studio version of the song performed by their preferred contestant, votes for their preferred contestant via text (which only lasted until season 8), or votes via the "The Voice" application. As the seasons progressed, the voting method was modified to Spotify and iTunes recordings.

The singing competition winners include Cam Anthony, Chris Blue, Alisan Porter, Cassadee Pope, Josh Kauffman, Jermaine Paul, and others.
