Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn continue to deal with engagement rumors surrounding their relationship.
In the past months, Swift and Alwyn have been subject to buzzes as their fans and shippers want to see them start their own family soon. Amid those talks, the couple remains silent but shows their closeness even more instead.
Us Weekly recently received a tip from a source who confirmed that the couple has been dividing their time in England and Nashville.
"Once Taylor and Joe started dating it became apparent to both of them that they were happiest doing their own thing in a low-key way. [They are] wildly happy together and are excited about their future together," it went on.
They first sparked dating rumors in 2017 before confirming their romance in May of that year. Since then, they choose to keep their relationship private and low-key.
The insider also told the news outlet that Swift and Alwyn agreed to remain independent despite their relationship, and it only helped them to strengthen their relationship.
The Truth About Engagement Rumors
As of press time, neither Swift nor Alwyn already confirmed their current status.
However, it is worth noting that the actor was asked during his interview with WSJ whether he popped the question to the "Look What You Made Me Do" hitmaker.
"If I had a pound for every time I think I've been told I've been engaged, then I'd have a lot of pound coins. I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn't say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn't say," he went on.

Meanwhile, The Sun published an article in June reporting that the couple "secretly got engaged."
The news outlet insisted that the singer only wears the ring "behind closed doors" and that they have been engaged for a few months. Even the singer's team is reportedly unaware of the event since the couple wants to stay away from the cameras as much as possible.
Although the engagement has not actually been confirmed, the source disclosed that there would be no coverage when she and Alwyn exchanged their vows soon.
However, they seemingly responded to it subtly by showing no ring during their public date in London in July. But if she chooses not to wear it publicly, it is highly likely that the love birds are already a step away from getting married.
