Luke Bryan is currently on the road for his "Raised Up Right" tour and aside from performing his hit singles, he also loves to poke fun at fans every now and then.

According to Outsider, the country singer performed with his good pal Riley Green at the Thompson-Boiling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The duo played their rendition of "Whiskey Glasses" by Morgan Wallen as an homage because they were performing in his hometown.

In the middle of their performance, the singer pranked fans by teasing them about a surprise guest.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the stage Morgan Wallen!" he said as he directs his arms to the stage entrance.

As fans were sent into frenzy and excitement, he walked to the edge of the stage only to reveal that "Morgan is not here!"

Unfortunately, Morgan Wallen didn't attend the show.

Later on, Riley Green kept the joke rolling by saying there was another artist performing, "I know Morgan Wallen isn't here, but you know who is here? Blake Shelton everybody!" The country legend wasn't at the show either.

Luke Bryan's Recent Performance

The latest concert took place a few days after the country star performed with his idol Vince Gill at a charity golf tournament in Tennessee.

The duo played several tracks from their individual music catalog as well as covers of songs at the Foundation Golf Invitational.

They performed "Take it Easy" by the Eagles and "Night Train" by Jason Aldean.

Other songs include "Liza Jane" and "Whenever You Come Around" by Gill, and "I Don't Want This Night to End" by Bryan.

Aside from playing their hit tracks, the two also shared stories with the crowd including the time they first met each other.

Bryan said his idol was sitting at a boutique and he came over to shake his hand.

"He stood up and shook my hand and then, so many years later, we get to sit on a stage like this and have fun, in a true musician, organic, not planned fashion, which is what music ought to be, in my opinion," he said.
