The 31-year-old looks sultry as she lounges on a pool of water, donning a bejeweled piece, with curtails revealing pink, purple, and orange skies behind her.

A fan mirrored the singer's excitement for the album, commenting under the Instagram post: "this is gonna look so good on the cover of a vinyl."

What's Next, Ari?

Her forthcoming album "Age/Sex/Location" will be comprised of 12 songs. But it is worth mentioning that Lennox reportedly shared that she wrote and recorded over 80 songs for the album.

In an interview with Vibe, the singer revealed that she has been anxious to release the album as soon as possible, "[...] I think it's a part of healing to release music, and I kind of feel like it's a whole bunch of just... stuff I have to keep inside when I would like to just get it out."

Lennox was not afraid to admit that "Age/Sex/Location" will showcase more of her vulnerability and growth. She described it as "beautiful soul music, a lot of attention to detail, and a lot of vulnerability."

"Also a lot of realizing I'm not putting up with no more BS... I would say it's really growing up. Really, really growing up.," she said.

Sure enough, Lennox's growth and maturity are reflected in her recently-released single "Hoodie," released under Dreamville Records, in collaboration with Elite, who reportedly also helped with "Shea Butter Baby" three years earlier.

The Predecessor

"Age/Sex/Location" is preceded by Lennox's debut album "Shea baby Butter," released in September of 2019.

When asked about her evolution from her first album, Lennox replied that she was naive about various aspects of her life, and it was projected in the music she wrote.

"[...]I feel like I'm just more aware now, more evolved, [and] more, not putting up with certain s**t I don't like," she reflected.

The new album will be artful and beautiful, she shared. Fans will have to watch out for the music and music videos that Lennox have in stored for them, because according to her, there will be lots of exciting things to come.

"I want that to get to shine [as] it deserves. So really just, the album, beautiful music videos. Music videos in a light where you've never seen me before. Just beautiful, phenomenal ideas and quality."

The singer also shared that her family is very supportive of her music career, helping her out with her home and pets from time to time to relieve her of stress.

"They take off a lot of stress that I, of course, created myself because I love chaos-got to have it. They're just very supportive and helpful," she told Vibe.

Lennox hails from Washington D.C., and launched her music career in 2009 with the release of her mixtape "Five Finger Discount" and debut EP "Ariography" in 2013.
