Fozzy had to cancel the band's tours after its frontman, Chris Jericho, faced an unexpected health issue.

Fans will need to wait again to see Fozzy's performance as the band canceled its upcoming tour dates. Instead of this year's tours, it decided to move it to Spring 2023 to allow Jericho to recover.

On Fozzy's website, the band detailed that the singer suffered a bruised larynx during a match at the AEW Quake By The Lake this month.

Although it assured that the injury would not affect his voice permanently, Jericho would still reportedly need to take a rest and allow his throat injury to heal.

"Chris hasn't fully recovered, and his laryngologist has recommended that Fozzy postpone the first two weeks of the Save The World tour (scheduled to start in Columbus on Sept. 8) in order to facilitate a full recovery as soon as possible," part of the statement read.

Jericho's laryngologist reportedly advised him to rest and postpone the first two weeks of the "Save the World" tour.

The shows in question were scheduled to happen on September 8 and 19. Despite the postponement, the tickets that were already bought would still be considered on the new dates.

Despite missing the concert, Fozzy will still participate in the upcoming All Out pay-per-view outside of Chicago on Sunday.

Chris Jericho's Wrestling Career

Jericho recently highlighted his career in the AEW and responded to Triple H (Paul Levesque) comments about "Wednesday Night War."

On Friday, the singer/wrestler disclosed to BT Sport's Ariel Helwani his stand on whether rebranding NXT to NXT 2.0 was punishment.

According to Jericho, he does not think so since it is "a competitive war." He also disclosed that, instead of pressure, it would be about putting the best product on the table instead.

He also said NXT is not "a good show," thus, it became the reason why Triple H said those things about the "Wednesday Night War."

The "Wednesday Night War" started soon after AEW released the first episode of "AEW Dynamite" in October 2019.

In similar news, Wrestletalk noted that WWE badly wants to bring Jericho back once his contract with AEW expires. But as of press time, Jericho is highly likely to stay since he is happy with his current career.
