Lil Tjay literally beat the odds without people knowing his progress.

The public received no update from Lil Tjay and his representatives after the shooting incident, making some websites assume different false reports about the rapper. He stayed in a medical facility for weeks after sustaining seven gunshot wounds, and he is taking his time now to reveal what his progress looked like when he was in the hospital.

On Twitter, Lil Tjay dropped another never-before-seen video of him taken a week after he was admitted due to his injuries.

The video featured the "Beat the Odds" rapper walking inside the facility without using any support. A person only assisted him, but he wholly relied on his own feet.

"The blogs said I was paralyzed and couldn't walk. But I started walking a week after surgery. I beat the odds," he said.

He also shared the same clip on his TikTok account, and he has since received praises for his bravery and faith.

What Did the Blogs Said About Lil Tjay

Due to a lack of update, blogs continuously shared reports saying that the rapper was paralyzed, brain dead, and dead.

The reports about his paralysis came out after the sites reported the "news" from Lil Tjay's alleged doctor, Dr. Raheem Smith. It insisted that the hip-hop artist would be paralyzed for the rest of his life after getting five shots in the chest area and two in his spine.

He reportedly could not move his upper body.

Other reports by Sandra Rose and Ratchet Friday Media stirred confusion as they claimed Lil Tjay's brain death and paralysis. Others claimed that he had already died in the hospital.

But the buzz somewhat quieted down when a news outlet confirmed that he had already woken up and got his breathing tube removed.

Talks about him not being able to rap again were also dismissed after the update disclosed that he could speak without a problem, saying that his voice remained the same.

Lil Tjay faced a near-death experience after the 27-year-old suspect Mohamed Konate attempted to rob him before shooting him multiple times. He has since been charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, and weapons charges.

It remains unknown whether the rapper himself would file a lawsuit against the suspect.
