Dolly Parton Compilation Album 'Diamonds & Rhinestones': Details, Tracks, More!

Fans might not be getting a rock album from Dolly Parton anytime soon, as the Country music icon is set to release a compilation album instead in the coming months.

News of a Dolly Parton new album coming out came shortly after the singer had a hard time deciding if she would deny or accept the nomination to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Parton, who successfully won the votes of fans on the voting panel of the Rock Hall, will be inducted in November, coinciding with the new album release, on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Dolly Parton is set to release her newest album - a compilation album titled "Dolly Parton- Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection." this November 18. (via Billboard)

Featuring 23-tracks of carefully selected tracks from Dolly Parton's discography, the career-spanning compilation album will be composed of fan favorites and the greatest hits of the music icon.

"Every one of these songs has a special memory behind it for me. I hope that you make some special memories of your own while listening to them," Dolly recounted. The new album will come out in two ways, a CD and a 2LP vinyl record available already for pre-order.

In November, Dolly Parton is among the few artists to be inducted into the 2022 class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, alongside Lionel Richie, Eminem, Duran Duran, Eurythmics, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, and Carly Simon. (via Pitchfork)
