It would seem like Taylor Swift has found a new passion aside from making music - filmmaking. This was further amplified during her panel discussion at the Toronto Film Festival where she premiered the first 35mm screening of "All Too Well: The Short Film."

Coming with her is the film's lead actress, which later turned out to be a young version of Swift herself. Sadie was widely-praised for her acting prowess not just on "Stranger Things" but also on the song's accompanying film.

Meanwhile, the news came weeks after Taylor emerged victorious at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards where she won three moonmans.

But contrary to others' belief that Taylor would stick to producing heartbreaking stories, the GRAMMY-winning singer offered a new take.

"I don't always see myself telling stories about extreme, guttural heartbreak at your most formative age that debilitates you emotionally for years and then you have to develop the scar tissue in order to move on with your life, and limp your way to your typewriter and write a novel about it. I think I've done that." Swift pointed out.

Meanwhile, the "August" hitmaker reiterated that she would still want to tell human stories about human emotion although she could not imagine herself doing an action sequence, probably again, since she did the action-packed "Bad Blood" last time.

Taylor Swift has been recognized lately for her directorial debut, "All Too Well: The Short Film" as it won the Video of the Year, Best Direction, and Best Longform Video at the 2022 MTV VMAs.

The Hollywood Reporter says in August that the short film qualified for Oscar consideration. Should Taylor score an Oscar for Best Live-Action Short, she is a Tony away from achieving EGOT status.
