PnB Rock spoke about robberies targeting rappers in the city days before he was killed during a heist at a Los Angeles restaurant. Did the rapper court his own death by saying he's very familiar about the risks of robberies for rappers and claiming he has never been robbed? Did he make himself a target by saying that he has became very alert about such possibilities?

It can be recalled that the rapper was out in broad daylight with his baby mama when he was allegedly shot out of robbery. There's a contention now by the authorities that the shooter became aware of where he and his partner was because of the latter's Instagram post.

PnB Rock, whose true name was Rakim Hasheem Allen, was fatally murdered on Monday while having lunch with his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang at Roscoe's House of Chicken 'N' Waffles. He was 30.

The couple has a daughter, Xuri, who is 2 years old. The rapper was also the father of 8-year-old Milan Allen.

PnB Rock spoke with DJ Akademiks about L.A. rappers being robbed in one of his final interviews recorded around a week before his passing. "It's so common," he said, later adding, "I never got robbed. Ever in my life."

He continued, "I ain't gon' say never. I don't like saying 'never.' I'm not superstitious, but I haven't been robbed." "I'm not gonna put myself in those situations because I know what happens in those situations," he said.

When DJ Akademiks stated that rappers are considered as "targets," PnB Rock stated that he "moves differently" since the death of his elder brother.

Police in Los Angeles believe PnB Rock was fatally shot after discovering his location via an Instagram post. "I've seen people die, I've been around people that died, but when that s--- hits your crib crib, you know this is real life. Anybody could die. It could be anybody. The last person that you expect could die."

PnB Rock responded that it makes him "awake" when asked if it made him "nervous." During the Monday encounter, a suspect demanded that the "Fleek" rapper hand up jewelry and other stuff.

Moments later, the guy drew a revolver and fired multiple shots at PnB Rock. He was rushed to the hospital in the hopes of saving him.

However, shortly thereafter, the rapper died, and the culprit escaped in a getaway vehicle.

Authorities have not identified the culprit, who remains at large.
