It looks like Kanye West is stirring new drama against his now-estranged family, the Kardashians after posting a photo of the matriarch online on his Instagram page.
Unlike his previous posts, Kris Jenner's photo does not occupy a spot on his Instagram feed, but instead, he used it as his very own profile photo. For some, the move was something that Kanye West would probably do, but the bigger question is - why?
In the past few weeks, the Kardashians have been sitting on the headlines of entertainment portals after Ray J blasted the "momager" for allegedly selecting what sex tape between him and Kim Kardashian would be leaked online.
Why is Kris Jenner The Profile Picture of Kanye West on Instagram?
According to Hot New Hip-hop, the reason behind Kris' photo on his Instagram was nothing but respect for the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch.
In his most recent Instagram story, he explained why Kris Jenner is his profile picture on Instagram after fans speculated that he was reigniting his feud with the family.
POSTED KRIS WITH THOUGHTS OF PEACE AND RESPECT," he wrote. In a follow-up, Kanye elaborated more about what he meant with a rather vague explanation: "LETS CHANGE THE NARRATIVE."
Although it has not been confirmed, it would seem like Kanye West is subtly defending his former mother-in-law Kris Jenner against the huge accusations that Ray J has thrown against her.
Infamously, Ray J and Kim Kardashian's sex tape was leaked online in 2007, eventually catapulting then unknown internet personality to stardom.
In the past few weeks, the "DONDA" rapper has been a sentimental father, even publicly apologizing to Kim Kardashian for causing her stress.
"This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration because God calls me to be stronger. But also, ain't nobody else needs to be causing no stress either. I need this person to be least stressed and at best sound mind and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children," Kanye said in an interview with "Good Morning America."
However, the mood seemed to have switched when Kanye used the photo of Kriss Jenner on Instagram. Kim, to the rescue, messaged Kanye on behalf of her mother.
"Tell him to please stop mentioning my name. I'm almost 67 years old and I don't always feel great and this stresses me to no end," Kris Jenner said.
Jenner's name has been in the headlines recently as Ray J accused him of orchestrating the sex tape leak in 2007, prompting fan backlash on the already controversial family and matriarch.
