Selena Gomez was not pleased with how some fans behaved after hearing Hailey Bieber's side of the story and scolded fans for their offensive comments.

"I think some of the things that I don't even need to be aware of are just vile and disgusting, and it's not fair, and no one, ever, should be spoken to in the manner that I've seen," said the "Rare" singer.

Earlier this week, Hailey Bieber appeared as a guest on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast hosted by Alex Cooper.

The model talked about various topics including her privacy, and her marriage with the "Baby" singer, among other things.

She discussed one of the most controversial topics surrounding herself, her hubby Justin Bieber, and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

"I think that there are situations where you can still kind of have back-and-forth with someone, but even that was not the situation," the 25-year-old model said.

"I can say, period, point-blank: I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody. That's the end of it."

It has been several years since Bieber and Gomez's relationship and breakup, however, it is clear that some fans are still not over it.

"If you support Rare, I cannot thank you enough, but know that you are also representing what it means," Gomez said on her TikTok Live. And that is: Words matter. Truly matter," referring to her makeup brand Rare.

On the other hand, according to the skincare entrepreneur, she and Gomez have already worked it out among themselves, and they are on good terms.

History

According to reports, the pair started dating in 2010 and had an on-and-off relationship until 2018, when they finally called it quits.

In November 2014, when the pair broke up for the second time, romance rumors about Bieber and Hailey Baldwin (now Bieber) came up for the first time. Bieber denied the rumors and called the model a "good friend." Over a year later, in December 2015, Bieber posted a picture of himself locking lips with the model.

In 2018, after spending Valentine's Day together, the two broke up once again in March; the "Sorry" singer was spotted getting cozy with Baldwin in June and proposed to her the following month. They tied the knot in September.

Their marriage brought about mixed reactions from fans. Some were happy for the couple, while some were not as enthusiastic.

The model directly addressed the fans, saying, "you don't have to like me. But you don't have to say anything, either, because behind this person that you're looking at on a screen is a person with a brain and a heart and emotions and issues that I face."
