Lizzo is not taking the mean comments directed at her sitting down, but she also is not up for a confrontation.

The 34-year-old singer was performing at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada on Oct. 7 when she talked about minding her own business.

"I feel like everybody in America got my motherf**king name in their motherf**king mouth for no motherf**king reason," she said, without dropping any names, but it was clear to whom she was referring.

'Demonic'

A few days ago, Kanye West went on an interview with Tucker Carlson of Fox News and talked about the "About Damn Time" singer's weight, referring to her as his "good friend."

"Because the media wants to put out a perception that being overweight is the new goal," he said. "When it's actually unhealthy."

"And for people to promote that, it's demonic," he added.

When asked why West thought the media is promoting unhealthiness, he said, "it's a genocide of the Black race. They want to kill us in any way they can."

Fans had mixed reactions to his statements. Some were offended for his statement, while others noted that the comments were not directed at Lizzo, but toward the media.

"Lizzo be minding her own business and her name gets brought up everywhere... so many "healthy" people got special meals from fast food places but y'all stay on Lizzos back about being unhealthy? I can guarantee she eats healthier foods than him, [sic]" they tweeted.

Lizzo, born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, is no stranger to comments about her weight, and she is a champion for plus-sized women, and simply brushed off West's comments, saying "I'm minding my fat Black beautiful business."

In addition to her response, Lizzo also joked that she wanted to become a Canadian citizen, much to her Canadian fans' delight.

"Who can I marry for that dual citizenship?" She asked.

'Crazy'?

The 45-year-old rapper has been subject to numerous controversies recently, including his infamous "White Lives Matter" shirt, his feud with Adidas and Gap, as well as his troubles with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

During his appearance on the Tucker Carlson Show, he revealed that he feels "hurt" whenever someone calls him "crazy."

They keep on using the 'Oh he's crazy, he's crazy' thing. And it hurts my feelings when people say that," he said.

In 2016, the rapper revealed that he had been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, and explained the struggle he has to go through living with it.

"When you're in this state, you're hyper-paranoid about everything [...] You have this moment [where] you feel everyone wants to kill you. You pretty much don't trust anyone," he told David Letterman in 2019.

According to Kardashian, "medication is not really an option, because it just changes who he is."
