Is Gwen Stefani the reason Blake Shelton is quitting "The Voice" at the end of this season?

Blake stated on social media earlier this month, "I've been fighting with this for a while, and I've decided that it's time for me to move away from The Voice after Season 23."

"This program has altered my life for the better in every manner, and it will always feel like home to me."

According to a source who told Radar Online, the "Hollaback Girl" singer wants him to spend more time with her "so they can secure a happy future together."

Since the show's beginning in 2011, the "Minimum Wage" hitmaker has been a regular, even sharing the stage with his wife for six seasons.

The couple's marriage has apparently suffered as a result of their hectic schedule, and they have clashed over important life matters.

The source further said that they couldn't decide where to live because Gwen owns a $13 million estate in Florida and Blake had a ranch in Oklahoma.

They revealed that the blonde bombshell is reportedly annoyed by her husband's many tours and the time he spends with his pals at his Nashville restaurant Old Red.

Aside from the concerns described above, Gwen Stefani is said to be dissatisfied with Blake's buddy Adam Levine, who recently made news for allegedly texting women on social media while being married to Behati Prinsloo.

Another insider revealed that "it's personal" for the former No Doubt frontwoman. She isn't concerned about Adam being a negative influence on Blake; this is a matter of principle."

According to sources, Gwen had little to worry about because her husband's connection with the lead singer of Maroon 5 was already on "life support."

"It wasn't entirely a performance, but the connection was dramatized for television. When Adam departed the show, the two of them no longer had to pretend."

Blake Shelton's departure from "The Voice" comes after it was discovered that producers were trying to find younger judges to participate on the program in order to appeal to a younger population.

Other sources indicated that Blake was already on the chopping block before deciding to leave the program.

Still, it's wise to take these rumors with a grain of salt because there's no evidence that Gwen Stefani coerced Blake Shelton to leave the show or that she has difficulties with Adam Levine and their friendship.
